Campus Re: is an inter- and transdisciplinary consultation process of the TU Berlin on the question of building renovation and further development of the Charlottenburg University Campus. It unites teaching projects from different departments, which in cooperation with alumni, spin-offs of the TU and representatives from politics, economy, culture and civil society think about potentials, utopias, solution scenarios and development perspectives for the locations of the TU Berlin.
Future of the Mathematics Building
The mathematics building of the TU Berlin, Straße des 17. Juni 136, which was built between 1976 and 1981 and is now in need of renovation, is in a phase of perspective reorientation and reassessment. With the planned evacuation of the building in 2023 and the relocation of its institutes to the eastern campus of the TU, a variety of options for modernization, use and design are opening up.
The transdisciplinary consultation process Future of the Mathematics Building brings together teaching projects that deal with visions, utopias and designs for the mathematics building. The goal is the development of integral solution perspectives and cross-references of disciplinary perspectives.
