Der lange Sommer der Theorie

Deutschland 2017, Regie: Irene Alberti, 82 Minuten

The long summer of theory brings portraits of three young women, artists, who struggle with their careers as actress, photographer and a filmmaker. A discursive movie, which in an entertaining way shows the demand for political action. Authors appear in the movie and reflect life on the basis of theoretical, sociological and philosophical texts. The movie flips a political awareness question “What is to be done?“ to “Let‘s do it!“ Filmmaker Nola, noise-punk singer Martina and actress Katja learn that simply sharing ideas is the first step to changing the world. Movie shows the past and last sites of Berlin.
