BHROX bauhaus reuse on Ernst-Reuter-Platz is a project by zukunftsgeraeusche in cooperation with the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district of Berlin and a pilot platform for the Charlottenburg campus, in cooperation with TU Berlin and UdK Berlin. The bauhaus reuse was built as a teaching construction site with the Knobelsdorffschule Berlin.
BHROX bauhaus reuse, Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Berlin is a transdisciplinary center and participatory urban laboratory for research, education, best-practice projects and performative practice. It was relaunched in 2019 as BHROX and is located on the central island of Ernst-Reuter-Platz in Berlin. Previously, bauhaus reuse was located on the grounds of the Bauhaus Archive Berlin from 2015-2018. The glass pavilion was constructed with reused (reuse) façade elements from the Dessau Bauhaus, from its major post-war renovation in 1976, provided by the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation. In the coming years, BHROX will address sustainable urban development, the legacy and future of modernism, building culture, politics and society, and cultural practices in urban space. To this end, BHROX is pursuing a multifaceted program line-up with its own productions and collaborations and is initiating transdisciplinary cooperation projects.
BHROX bauhaus reuse is a foundation of zukunftsgeraeusche, in cooperation with the district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf of Berlin as well as with TU Berlin, UdK Berlin and with a multitude of partners and supporters – and a pilot platform for the Campus Charlottenburg.

Das BHROX bauhaus reuse auf dem Ernst-Reuter-Platz ist ein Projekt von zukunftsgeraeusche, in Kooperation mit dem Bezirk Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf von Berlin und eine Pilot-Plattform für den Campus Charlottenburg, in Kooperation mit TU Berlin und UdK Berlin. Errichtet wurde das bauhaus reuse als Lehrbaustelle mit der Knobelsdorffschule Berlin.
BHROX bauhaus reuse, Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Berlin ist ein transdisziplinäres Zentrum und partizipatives Stadtlabor für Forschung, Bildung, Best-Practice Projekte und performative Praxis. Es wurde 2019 als BHROX neu gegründet und befindet sich auf der Mittelinsel des Ernst-Reuter-Platzes in Berlin. Zuvor befand sich das bauhaus reuse von 2015-2018 auf dem Areal des Bauhaus-Archivs Berlin. Der gläserne Pavillon wurde mit wiederverwendeten (reuse) Fassadenelementen aus dem Dessauer Bauhaus errichtet, aus dessen großer Nachkriegssanierung von 1976, die von der Stiftung Bauhaus Dessau zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. In den kommenden Jahren befasst sich das BHROX mit nachhaltiger Stadtentwicklung, mit dem Erbe und der Zukunft der Moderne, mit Baukultur, Politik und Gesellschaft und mit kulturellen Praktiken im urbanen Raum. Dazu verfolgt das BHROX eine vielseitige Programm-Bespielung mit eigenen Produktionen und Kooperationen und initiiert transdisziplinäre Kooperationsprojekte.
Das BHROX bauhaus reuse ist eine Gründung von zukunftsgeraeusche, in Kooperation mit dem Bezirk Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf von Berlin sowie mit TU Berlin, UdK Berlin und mit einer Vielzahl an Partner*innen und Unterstützer*innen – und eine Pilot-Plattform für den Campus Charlottenburg.
