Die Bauhauswoche im bauhause reuse auf dem Ernst-Reuter-Platz! zukunftsgeraeusche beteiligt sich mit Workshops und einem Symposium an der Aktionswoche anlässlich des Jubiläums 100 Jahre Bauhaus. Die Veranstaltungen beleuchten kritisch das materielle wie immaterielle Bauhaus-Erbe und setzen es international in Relation.

Zwischen dem 30. August und 8. September erläutern Expert*innen im bauhaus reuse – der Festivalzentrale der bauhauswoche berlin 2019 in Kooperation mit Kulturprojekte Berlin – ihre Sicht auf das Erbe der Bauhäusler*innen und setzen es international in Relation. Künstler*innen stellen ihre Verbindung und Reflektion des Bauhauses dar. Zudem klären Filme, Lesungen und Radioabende die notwendige Hintergründe rund um das Bauhaus.

Das Programm von zukunftsgeraeusche

In Form von drei zentralen Workshops und einem Symposium werden im Rahmen der bauhauswoche berlin im bauhaus reuse Fragen rund um das Erbe des Bauhauses diskutiert. Welche Inhalte und Werte gelten für das Bauhaus? Was bedeutet das Bauhaus für die Zukunft von Bildung und Arbeit? Wie lassen sich Zusammenhänge zwischen Moderne und Emanzipationsbewegungen einordnen? Darüber hinaus wird nicht allein das ideelle Leitbild, welches mit dem Bauhaus verknüpft ist, betrachtet, sondern auch wie es ganz konkret materiell weitergedacht werden kann. So tritt das Bauhaus auch in baulicher Form – durch die wiederverwendeten Dessauer Fassaden für das bauhaus reuse – auf dem Ernst-Reuter-Platz in Erscheinung und bildet den Diskussionsraum der dortigen Veranstaltungen.

Gemeinsam mit dem Publikum erörtern Vertreter*innen aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen der Wissenschaft und Praxis Themen wie die Entwicklung der gesellschaftlichen und sozialen Emanzipation in der Moderne in den letzten 100 Jahren, auch mit Blick in die Zukunft, oder machen die „Marke Bauhaus“ zum zentralen Gegenstand einer Debatte. Der Gedanke des re-use, also das Wiederverwenden und Weiterdenken sowie der transdisziplinäre Austausch sind somit allen Veranstaltungen immanent. Ganz im Sinne des Bauhauses steht der Dialog zwischen Forschung, Bildung, Praxis und Öffentlichkeit und das gemeinsame Arbeiten im Fokus – ohne dabei dessen ursprüngliche Entwicklung und globale Wirksamkeit außer Acht zu lassen.

In central workshops on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, bauhaus reuse, the festival centre of bauhauswoche berlin 2019 in cooperation with Kulturprojekte Berlin, will take up various aspects of the socio-cultural and substantial legacy of the Bauhaus and discuss them in a transdisciplinary way.

The Bauhaus week at bauhaus reuse on Ernst-Reuter-Platz! zukunftsgeraeusche participates in the action week to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus with workshops and a symposium. The events focus on a critical examination of the material and immaterial Bauhaus legacy and put it into an international perspective.

Between 30 August and 8 September, experts at the bauhaus reuse – the festival venue for the bauhauswoche berlin 2019 in cooperation with Kulturprojekte Berlin – will share their perspective on the legacy of the Bauhaus members and set it in an international context. Artists will present their connection to the Bauhaus and their reflection on it. In addition, films, readings and radio evenings will provide the necessary background information about the Bauhaus.

The programme of zukunftsgeraeusche

As part of the bauhauswoche berlin, three central workshops and a symposium will be held at the bauhaus reuse to discuss lively questions about the legacy of the Bauhaus. What content and values apply to the Bauhaus? What does the Bauhaus mean for the future of education and work? How can connections between modernity and emancipation movements be classified? In addition, not only the idealistic model that is linked to the Bauhaus will be considered, but also how it can be further developed in a very concrete and tangible way. In this way, the Bauhaus also appears in a structural form – through the reused Dessau facades for the bauhaus reuse – on Ernst-Reuter-Platz and forms the discussion space for the events held there.

Together with the audience, representatives from various fields of science and practice either discuss topics such as the development of social and societal emancipation in modernity over the last 100 years, also with a glance into the future or make the “Bauhaus brand” the central subject of debate. The idea of re-use, i.e. reuse and further thinking, as well as transdisciplinary exchanges are thus inherent in all events. In line with the Bauhaus spirit, the focus is on the dialogue between research, education, practice, and the public along with collaborative work – without neglecting its original development and global effectiveness.
